The Scarlet Room velvet skirt, secondhand / Choke boots, UNIF / Suede bag, thrifted
First things first, I'm the realest YES, I cut my hair! My hair has been long for years and I felt like I needed a change. Not regretting the snip at all — which is strange since I am such a fickle person. And speaking of fickle, the weather has been pretty temperamental lately and it seems like there's (fingers crossed) a lot of rainy days up ahead! Any time nature decides to bless us with a rainy day, I am sure many fellow Singaporeans will understand my sheer joy and the need to take advantage of the cooler weather to dress up!
And for those much further away from the equator, Fall is here! I heard that there's a heat wave going on so, I hope the weather has been cooling down! If I had the chilly autumn weather over here, my personal five essentials for Fall would be:
⟡ ⟡ 1) leather jacket 2) dark red lipstick 3) velvet 4) combat boots ⟡ ⟡
I feel like this outfit would be a good example of a transitional Summer to Fall look. I got a lot of wear out of this crop top because it's made of this soft material and it's super breezy on hot summer days. I am totally digging the bohemian vibes from lace trimming. And to keep the boho feel going, I have my lovely fringed bag that was actually handmade by a Native American! Orange is a hot colour on the runway this season and it was a nice pop of colour for an otherwise monochromatic look! Another two 2014 runway trend favs would be velvet and the military trend. This is where my new badass UNIF combat boots, leather jacket and velvet skirt come in to toughen up the look. Fall is all about that dark lipstick and even darker ensembles!
I recently discovered an awesome site called Raise! Raise is a new online marketplace where you can purchase gift cards at discounted prices. You can even sell any gift cards that you aren't gonna use and make some extra cash for more shopping! If you, like me, love to shop, this is definitely a site to check out. There are so many brands to choose from, like my fashion favourites H&M, Urban Outfitters, PacSun, Anthropologie, Nordstrom Rack, Steven Madden and more! There's even gift cards other brands like Toys R Us, Barnes & Noble, Amazon! Hey, Christmas is coming up reaaaal soon so why not start shopping for your family, friends and yourself! *✧₊✪͡◡ू✪͡
