It's been a suuuuuper duper long time since I visited Haji Lane so we decided to walked around for a bit.
Saw some interesting sights like a man cycling in an amazing lighted up bicycle, fluorescent night lights, met two beautiful cats called Jack and Estee who were sleeping in a store, the prettiest(but expensive) bikes that I have been wanting for ages, and extremely overpriced clothes and bags that you can probably find for 2/3 of the price online. Didn't really walk into much stores though. But we took loaaads of photos though:

I love how you can just wear a dress with a badass denim/leather jacket and you are good to go. I had other outfit plans for the By Feine event but I thought I should just keep things simple with this little outfit of mine. Denim, florals, leather, velvet - pretty much all of my things in one outfit!
And finding this Dr Martens-esque wine red velvet boots was pretty much the best thing that happened to me during my Alone Time/Retail Therapy last week! It's my first pair of proper boots and ugh, wine red + velvet = puuuurrrrrfect!! ♡♡♡

BY FEINE

Well, it's been awhile since I've posted, yet again. I recently battled a 1500 word art theory essay and a presentation (that freaking turned out that it's not graded DA FAQ!?!). This was all on the same day, I was running on 2 hours worth of 'sleep', and later that day, after a celebratory lunch consisting of pasta and cheese fries, me & my friend stayed in school until midnight to complete our essays. /Note to self: NEVER DO THIS EVER AGAIN.

I met up with Liyuan at town on friday! We just sat around, enjoyed the aircon, talked about all sorts of things, had dinner at Burger King, and later on, we made our way to Haji Lane. I was invited to the BY FEINE launch party! I got to meet and have a lovely chat with the founders Elynn and Jody. There were sneak previews of their upcoming collections were showcased.


It was great to finally meet my friend Elynn (one of By Feine's owners) again!

 And this is very true - there is a nice balance of badassed and sophisticated clothes available at By Feine! There were lots of interesting accessories; minimalistic cross earrings (why aren't my ears pierced!?) & bracelets, super awesome dragon, skull & unicorn ear cuffs/earrings. For clothing, they had rad cosmic printed leggings & bikini pieces, floral bralets, cloud prints and more! And they even had clothes that were more functional and minimalistic too. Lots of black, white and greys, geometric prints, unique cut outs, interesting drapery and fun twists to basic tees. The prices are also decent for such unique pieces! There is definitely something for everyone. Just from the items showcased in this launch party, their upcoming collection looks super awesome already!! FLUORESCENT ADOLESCENT

The title really says it all!!! I always have fun experimenting with how I combine certain garments together and I love how the colours of this outfit are pretty fun, quirky and fluorescent. I wanted to wear my bralet in a different way, so I had my lovely pastel floral bralet peek out of my white skeleton tank. It looked pretty rad with white of my bleached denim jacket. I added my pastel orange denim shorts for an extra pop of colour and everything combined really well together. :)  



AHH sorry for the 17 day hiatus! School just started 2 weeks ago so I have been busy getting used to being back at school and having to wake up earlier than usual. Wore this outfit on one of the first few days of school and met up with Liyuan to get these outfits taken. We planned to both wear floral bralets and it's awesome to see how different our outfits turn out! I'm really happy with how all of the pictures turned out so I apologise for the spammage!

I like how her floral bralet stood out against her dark clothes. Even her socks are floral too. And it was such an awesome coincidence that we both showed up with smiley badges on our jackets!
