Here are my paintings of Jenn Im and Stephanie Villa! (◡‿◡✿)

When I found out that my queens of youtube were going to be here in Singapore for the Digital Fashion Week, I knew I HAD to meet them. Jenn actually visited earlier this year but I didn't get to see her properly because she had to leave early (but she was an angel & commented so I wasn't too sad) . I definitely wasn't going to let the opportunity slip by again!

I figured the perfect gift for them was a painting because Jenn drew me last year during her Bullseye University livestream! I actually had to redo both of them because I was sooo out of touch with traditional mediums. But I thought giving an actual painting would be much better than a print out of a digital artwork.  I am really, really happy with how the paintings turned out :')

*✲ﾟ* 31ST OCTOBER: DFW MEET & GREET *✲ﾟ*


The meet and greet event was 12 to 2 pm and thankfully I am finally ~free from school~ to be able to go for it. When I arrived right before 11 am, there was already a queue but it wasn't too bad ...yet. Soon enough, the queue started to get so long that I think it extended out of the building. Totally didn't regret waking up super early for this!


While queuing, I got to meet the other DFW bloggers — David Guison, Nellie Lim, Willabelle Ong, and Chloe Ting. They were all so sweet and I was even able to personally talk to them for a bit. 
I got to catch up really quick with my lovely babe Willa, who's gorgeous like always. Even though she's been busy jet setting all over the world (cue my "Don't you need to go to school!" nagging) and we have not hung out properly in ages, I am so proud of her and happy to hear that she's doing well! 
♡ ( •⌄• ू )✧ Ahhh it was great to meet one of my fav bloggers, Chloe Ting!!! I have been following her blog & lookbook for more than 2 years. She's such a sweetheart and I'm so glad we got to chat! She even took a photo with me on her camera!! *o* Thank you for always inspiring me, Chloe!!

✌️ I am so happy I got to meet David too! I have been following his blog for a while now and needless to say, his fashion style is A+.

And y'all need to pinch me because I still cannot begin to believe that this happened:


(´♡‿♡`) Soothingsistaaa ~ Extremely happy I got to meet & hug this rad as heck babe Stephanie!!! She's even more gorgeous in real life *u* She even told me that I look great (something along those lines - I was too excited) and I barely managed to squeak out a "not as great as you!!" back. You have no idea how much that means to me, coming from someone who's been such a huge inspiration to me.

(❁´▽`❁)*✲* It's been a few days and I still cannot believe I actually got to actually meet, talk to and hug my queen, Jenn Im! (hey it rhymes!) She is absolutely beautiful in real life and her smile has such warmth and an infectious quality to it. I was just so stunned that I was actually meeting someone who has been a role model to me, someone who I never thought I would get to meet because of how far apart we are and someone who I could only see as pixels on my computer/phone screen. I could barely function properly (thank god I managed to scribble down a letter to Jenn with everything I wanted to say) in front of my all time favourite youtuber that I have been watching since 2012! She is the most genuine, down to earth and raddest babe ever and I am grateful to be able to meet her irl!
I told her that she drew me during her livestream last year and so I did a painting for her as a gift in return. And before I said anything else, she said, "Oh you're Cherylsaurus!!" so I think my life has been made and I can die happy because Jenn actually remembers me from all the way back then?? I mean seriously, just how amazing can this babe be? ♡ Even though our time together was short, I just felt so blessed to be able to bask in her presence! I LOVE YOU 5EVA AND SO MUCH MORE, JENN ♡


I am eternally grateful to be able to meet my role models and the best babes ever. But also, I'm sad that the moment happened so fast. That's to be expected during a m&g and I get that they were trying to get through as many people as possible within such a short span of time. I just wish we could hang out and talk properly! Ah well, until next time I guess! x

FIDÉ FASHION WEEK

Earlier last month, I got invited to FIDÉ Fashion Week! It was my first time at such a fancy event so I was pretty much stoked (even more when I finally got to wear that dress out!!!). We went for the Japanese Couture night and it was amazing. I lost count of the amount of times I kept patting Jon's arms when the model walked down in something I wish I could wear straight off the runway. Beautiful clothes, stylish people, delicious food, good music - definitely a highlight of 2013 for me!

I know I know, I am the worst at blogging. I hope the video diary and slight photo spam of beautiful models and clothes would be suffice for the time being! :'D Yes, I am still alive; the past few months just have been all kinds of crazy. But the good kind of crazy, of course, where I can't wait for the next day. It may have something to do with a certain handsome cat... (✿>◡<) Well, expect more posts soon once my holidays start. YES, THAT IS THE ONE AND ONLY, AMAZING CLAIRE BOUCHER. YES, I GOT TO SEE HER LIVE! Asdgfkg I have been in love with her & her music since 2011 - seeing her live has been on my wishlist since then!! It's been a week but I am still reeling in shock that I actually went to her show. She was absolutely magical, amazing, beautiful and adorable! Best night of 2013 so far.


Irfan actually made his own PUSSY cap and when he met her, she told him someone actually stole the original cap!
So Irfan gave his cap to her and she wore it immediately! She's the best.

And here's what I wore to the show - simple and casual. Of course, I chose my velvet boots for uber comfort (I've learnt my lesson from the previous concert I went to in Jan) and my backpack was really handy for holding all my stuff and I didn't have to worry about it hitting anyone.


And Irfan was such a cutie - he dressed up as Grimes (one of the scenes in her song Genesis)! I am so glad Irfan was a huge fan of her as well and went with me to see her. It probably wouldn't be the same if I went with anyone else. So Irfan, if you are reading this - thanks for being so awesome and making my night even more special. I had so much fun hanging out, moshing and dancing with you :) bbz5eva.
