YES, THAT IS THE ONE AND ONLY, AMAZING CLAIRE BOUCHER. YES, I GOT TO SEE HER LIVE! Asdgfkg I have been in love with her & her music since 2011 - seeing her live has been on my wishlist since then!! It's been a week but I am still reeling in shock that I actually went to her show. She was absolutely magical, amazing, beautiful and adorable! Best night of 2013 so far.


Irfan actually made his own PUSSY cap and when he met her, she told him someone actually stole the original cap!
So Irfan gave his cap to her and she wore it immediately! She's the best.

And here's what I wore to the show - simple and casual. Of course, I chose my velvet boots for uber comfort (I've learnt my lesson from the previous concert I went to in Jan) and my backpack was really handy for holding all my stuff and I didn't have to worry about it hitting anyone.


And Irfan was such a cutie - he dressed up as Grimes (one of the scenes in her song Genesis)! I am so glad Irfan was a huge fan of her as well and went with me to see her. It probably wouldn't be the same if I went with anyone else. So Irfan, if you are reading this - thanks for being so awesome and making my night even more special. I had so much fun hanging out, moshing and dancing with you :) bbz5eva.

Along with LY's chiffon top and this super awesome spunky neon pink tribal shorts, this outfit is just screaming, "BOHEMIAN! SUMMER! ICE LOLLIES! SUN!" Threw on a denim vest to add in an extra spunk and well, everything looks cooler with denim, right? Of course, this is not beach-volley-ball-friendly with the unexpected chunky heels (unless you take them off!). Technically, it's almost always summer here in Singapore. So this is a casual bohemian outfit that would look good worn to school, to town, to barbecues, beach parties, anywhere!

And can I just say that I really love the 1st photo of myself? Okay.

Haha, and here's my little summer playlist. Well, okay maybe they are not the best songs to represent summer. They are just a compilation of some happy, upbeat songs that I like. And, I'm just gonna put it out there that, lol yes, my youtube username is 'gothicalolita'. HAHAHA it's a random thing I came up with years ago and thought, "AWWYEA, that rhymed."

Wow. This song sure brings back so many memories. Memories of a very excited 12 year old me purchasing my first Good Charlotte cd which was The Chronicles of Life & Death album. And more memories of me jumping around my room, holding my walkman in one hand, the other hand clenched up as if I'm holding a microphone, singing this song as if I am part of the GC band. I knew the lyrics all by heart, I loved the drawings for lyric book, I have watched all their videos, I decorated my school books with lyrics and phrases. I even wanted to be Billy Martin's girlfriend. ♡


Awwww, come on!! He was so adorable during his emo punk days. And he's even hotter now!! His drawing style is super awesome too!

So, I spent the other night practically bawling my eyes out because Rita, one of my favourite Dexter characters, died. They also did a tribute episode for her, had flashbacks of their first date (pictures #1-3. #4 was after her death & the flashback), there were meaningful quotes (which made everything a whole lot sadder) and they kept using this sad song. It was very bittersweet and my eyes were swollen the next morning.

The last time this happened to me was a few years ago, during Desperate Housewives 5 when Edie died. But it wasn't even THIS BAD. I was crying loudly into my towel - that was how bad it was. Like, if I could cry out loud when I was watching the last Harry Potter movie for the first time, that was how badly I was crying for Rita. I always get too attached to tv show characters.. Even knowing she was going to get killed beforehand didn't help at all. It was just so sad. But I actually felt better after crying. I guess it's because I have been feeling down recently and I think I really needed to let my emotions all out and just cry. ...I miss Rita.（；へ：）
