This set of photos was taken by the lovely Sheryl for her school project! She contacted me for an interview and this was what I wore when I met her. It was my first time being interviewed about my blog and it was really exciting. I was decked out in my usual casual, yet edgy get up. I wore my oxblood jacket with pleather sleeves, which is one of my best deals ever (it used to be $60, I got it for $20!!) and is quite the statement piece by itself.

It was a great day and ever since then, Sheryl and I have been good friends! It's pretty awesome how blogging lets me meet all sorts of rad and talented people - both irl and online. I actually got approached by 3 bloggers / instagram friends this week at town!! Feels super surreal to know that people would actually recognise me and say hi. (///*u*///) I even got to hang out with Vernice for the evening (surprisingly, I did not buy anything at the crazy h&m sale) and she's a major sweetheart. I hope I have more awesome opportunities like this in the future! Fingers crossed. x

WAIT. WHAT??? A blog post? Could it be? Why, yes, it is. I have returned from the far reaches of the universe my living room (cough minecraft / sleeping / hannibal, perception & monk marathons cough)  and finally got back to blogging. I'm sorry, my sister just takes too much photos sometimes. So much photos that the mere thought of narrowing down the 3rd list of already narrowed down photos just makes me want to bury myself in my blanket like a defeated little burrito. And I did that once and fell asleep for 3 hours. Usually, by the time I get all determined to start editing my photos in the middle of the night, I would realised it is already 5 am. #firstworldproblems

But here it is, finally. Slight tsunami of photos because I still couldn't narrow it down to less than 10.

ALSO. I AM WEARING PANTS. Very fabulously pink ones! (So fab I just had to get it) I went for uber comfort for this casual outfit of mine. The rest of my outfit was mostly black so it would be all nicely balanced out and the pink could really pop.

IS THIS REAL LIFE?

On friday afternoon, I received an @mention on Twitter. At first, I thought it was one of those spam accounts trying to promote something stupid and I went off to a new page before reading what the entire tweet said. So, you could imagine how shocked I was when I reread it. If I was sitting on a chair, I would have fallen off of it. I wasn't sitting down but I let out a weird muffed squeal in a crowded train though.

It's been a day since friday and it still feels surreal. It's so unbelievable. It feels like a flower is blossoming in my chest!! I can't even string together the right words to describe how I feel about this. Maybe this is how it feels like to give birth.....?
